Editorial Review of Moe's Cantina

Are you a young, urban professional? Do you like to mingle with other like-minded individuals? Do you like Mexican food? Well, if you answered yes to all of these questions, I have got good and bad news for you. The good news is that you will love the hell out of this enormous cantina. The bad news is that, despite the restaurant/bar's personal flair, the music is so loud that no one would even notice if a dump truck drove through a hypothetically nearby nitroglycerin plant.

In all seriousness, Moe's Cantina attracts a mix of those who are comfortably established in the Wrigleyville area and those who are striving to achieve that comfort. Besides the throbbing music, the extremely high noise level reflects the number of people enjoying either the extensive tequila selection to wash down $4-$10 tapas-size portions of tacos and quesadillas (Not Kesadillas, Napoleon fans!). If you are feeling particularly ambitious, try the $45 grilled meat sampler. Either that, or just stick with skewers of shrimp. While I hear this one's not as good as Moe's tavern in Springfield (rumor has it that one of his regulars, Homer, is quite the cut-up), this Wrigleyville joint will have you coming back for more.

Average cost: $10-$20
