Found Magazine's Denim and Diamonds Tour
8 p.m. Thursday at Lakeshore Theater; $10
Found magazine, the publication consisting entirely of random "great finds" (notes, to-do lists, love letters, doodles), has just released a new book, Requiem for a Paper Bag, and is heading across the country in support of it. For its latest release, Found asked writers, musicians, artists and entertainers to share stories of their favorite discoveries. Dave Eggers, Miranda July, Andy Samberg, Andrew Bird and Devendra Banhart are just a few of the many contributing artists. Catch the book's author, Davy Rothbart, and his brother, Peter, sharing stories of these famous contributors' finds along with tales of their own latest discoveries.

Last Free Day at the Modern Wing
10:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday at Art Institute of Chicago
Hurry before the dreaded $18 admission fee goes into effect! Today is your last chance to check out the Art Institute's brand-new addition for free. The Modern Wing houses a collection of modern European painting and sculpture, contemporary art, architecture and design and photography. If that saved money is burning a hole in your pocket, consider donating to the Greater Chicago Food Depository, who will be on hand to accept non-perishable items. They'll be set up at sites along the Michigan Avenue and Monroe Street sides of the Institute.

Memorial Day Wreath Laying Ceremony and Parade
11 a.m. Saturday at Daley Plaza
Be a part of one of the nation's largest parades, consisting of more than 250 marching units and 25,000 people. The Wreath Laying Ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. at the Eternal Flame at Daley Plaza, and the parade will begin at noon, marching south down State Street from Wacker to Van Buren.

Bike the Drive
Bike the Drive
5:30-9:45 a.m. Sunday at Grant Park (Columbus and Jackson); Registration starts at $42
Grab your bike and partake in the annual ride along the car-free Lake Shore Drive. Benefiting the Active Transportation Alliance, a non-profit biking, walking and transit advocacy organization, the 15-mile trail starts at Grant Park and moves north to Bryn Mawr (7.5 miles) or south to the Museum of Science and Industry (7.5 miles). Participants also have the option of riding the entire loop, a 30-mile adventure. A post-ride party complete with a $7 all-you-cat-eat pancake breakfast will take place at Butler Field in Grant Park.

Baha'i Choral Festival Concerts
10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Sunday at Baha'i House of Worship; free
Wilmette's world-renowned Baha'i Temple will host more than 200 singers from the U.S., Canada and Africa on Sunday as they perform a variety of liturgical music. The third annual event will include classic music of the Baha'i faith and other religions, as well as gospel and scriptural pieces. Two separate concerts will be taking place, and all performances will be a cappella. Free parking will be available on side streets and paid parking at the CTA lot at 4th Street and Linden Avenue.
