Harry Caray's (Rosemont) Review
Awesome steaks and great service made our last minute choice to eat at Harry Caray's one to remember. We watched the final game of the world series on a big screen TV and had some drinks in the bar after our meal...I think I found my new favorite spot.

Trader Todd's Adventure Bar Review
I haven't been to Trader Todd's in years but I met Donald Gibb there one night and he is one of the friendliest guys you could ever meet! He got up and sang Karaoke with my friend and me and it was a riot! Next time I'm back in Chicago I'm going to take my son in there with me.

Galvin's Public House Review
The bands they have been getting in on the weekend are killer! I think this is the only place to see great music on the Northwest side. The food is all the more while to go. Great steak dinner for 12 bucks. you can't beat it anywhere. Thanks Galvins!!

House of Hookah Review
I found this place to be very cool. Customer service was helpful and very friendly. Seating on the lounge is very comfortable. Very reasonably priced, about $5 per person. I later found out they are BYOB also. Finally a place I can drink and smoke cigarettes at the same time. Definetely going back.

Mark II Lounge Review
Halloween fun. I was there last night. They had awesome decorations and Halloween is already in full swing. Tons of people were dressed up and me and my girlfriends had a great time. I would love to come back to this and it will definitely be on my itinerary anytime I can make it to the northside for cocktails.

Louie's Pub Review
I was in Chicago on business a couple of weeks ago and went to Louie's for an evening of karaoke on a Wednesday night. I had chosen Louie's based on favorable online reviews, and I chose wisely! The KJ, Erin, provided the best customer service I've ever received at a karaoke bar. When I requested a song that wasn't in the book, she went online and immediately purchased and downloaded it; and just a few minutes later, when my turn came up in the rotation, I was singing it. I sing karaoke all over the world, and no KJ has ever done that for me before. It was an example of how she made a visitor feel comfortable and welcome. I had an awesome time. Good crowd, too.

Restaurant Bulgaria Review
I've been to this place many times. One of my favorite places in the city. Nice atmosphere and good food at a reasonable price. I'd recommend the chicken paprika. Service can be at time slow and I've never seen the place busy. Still, if you are looking for a nice quite place with good food this is well worth it.

Sweetwater Review
Early dinner with the kids and grandkids!

A terriffic early Saturday dinner with kids and grandkids. Great atmosphere, very upscale and kid friendly (as in immediate crayons and picture to color). Great kids menu (we liked the "panel of experts" touch) and great dinners. Don't miss the chocolate cookie with ice cream for desset-big enough for all five of us to share.

We ordered the cheese/artichoke appitizer, meatloaf, salmon, pulled pork sandwhich and shared a bit of all--the salmon was awesome. The kids had mac & cheese & chicken strips--nothing left on their plates. Generous portions, promptly served - again a nod toward the kid friendliness. Reasonable prices too.

We'll be back again for lunch and adult dinners. A really fun place in the heart of Michigan Avenue.

The Cellar Review
We dropped in for the "soft opening" of the new wine bar, The Cellar, in downtown Evanston. This is exactly the kind of warm and sophisticated venue that the North Shore has been lacking. The food by the co-owner executive chef, Victor Hernandez, is creative and delicious. Try the fried chicken served in a small silver bucket with a side of creamy mashed potatoes. The ambiance, enhanced by Chef Hernandez' decor, is romantic and lively, jazzy, contemporary and comfortable. All you have to do is walk by and peek in the window. You won't be able to resist going in. The Grand Opening is Wed., 9/16.

Jay's on Taylor Review
What a nice surprise...moderately priced Italian faire with good taste too! A big group of us went in over the weekend...Enjoyed clams, calimari and bruschetta for starters. Each of us ordered different things off the menu. NO ONE was disappointed. Jay was a great host, checking to make sure everyone was happy. Service was attentive and friendly. We'll be back...soon!
