Who's Who Chicago: Centerstage People
Alan Simmons
Personal Website: http://www.degarbled.com
Alan's the type of person that really doesn't like it when people use the phrase "I'm the type of person that..." He likes to say "je ne sais quoi" a lot, even though he's not completely sure what it means. Still, he's not all that bad, especially when he's buying.

Until recently, Alan was an international software consultant. He chucked all of that to become a freelance writer. Although he's happier now, he does miss the frequent flyer miles.

Alan writes reviews, articles, essays, travel stories and just about anything you ask him to write, especially if you're willing to pay him to write it. He has a web site at www.degarbled.com.
